Joe was one in a million. He was my oldest of 13 cousins. He could make me laugh so hard. He always talked about babysitting me as a toddler, when we went out for Chinese food & I threw rice everywhere! He was such an honest, honorable man in every regard. He approached life with humor & strength. I have such wonderful memories of spending time with him at the house in Kings Park, on Poppi’s boat, & of course at Labor Day! That has always been one of my favorite holidays because I would get to spend the whole day with him & his family. I was lucky enough to spend so much more time with him since he moved back to NY. We had some wonderful Easters & Christmases together. He brought an amazing wife & friend to our family, Tina. And together, they blessed our family with two fantastic, huggable, lovable boys, Gavin & Griffin. He also leaves behind a wonderful mother, my Aunt Pat. Joe was a king among peasants. He is already deeply missed. I KNOW we will all see him again someday. Thanks for paving the way to heaven for us Joe! Can’t wait to see you again. XOXOXO
