Years ago, Don and Pat Kuhn had invited my husband and I to drive out with Wendy and Jeff from NJ for our initial visit to their beautiful home in Commack, NY. You see, our son, Jeff, and their daughter, Wendy, were recently married. It was a very cold, snowy and stormy day and we were very anxious to arrive at their home.. We arrived to a very warm welcome with smiles adorned, a glowing fire in the fireplace, homemade cooking smells permeating throughout the house and hustling and bustling of other family members extending their greetings to us. It was a joyous occasion and one I will cherish always. It set the precident for many future enjoyable visits to NJ. It was obvious from the get go that Don was a loving husband, father and grandpa, He was a gentle, soft spoken man and an interesting and knowledgeable conversationalist and ALWAYS A family man.
