Sal

I knew Sal for about 30 years.  He was good hearted and certainly one of a kind.  He was a skilled craftsman in masonry, plumbing, carpentry, and most other types of home repair and would tackle almost any type of challenge when it came to fixing things.  Beyond that, however was his social nature.  He was very energetic and always ready to go somewhere or do something when other people would just want to sit and relax.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell stories about the past, complete with dialog and detailed descriptions of what happened.  Invariably the result was hilarious.

Sal was so full of life that it is hard to believe he is gone.  The people who knew him will never forget him, and I am sure there are some angels and saints laughing right now at one of his stories.

Rest in peace Sal.
