Obituary for Ellen A. Schobert
Ellen Schobert, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother ascended to heaven on November 2, 2021. She was 86 years old.
Ellen was an inspiration to her family because of the way she lived her life; always faithful, a true optimist and the way she practiced gratitude on a daily basis. She loved to host family gatherings and made the holidays extra special. She had a great love for animals, especially her two poodles, Danielle and Daisy. Ellen always had music playing in the background, oftentimes the songs of Paul Anka and Bruce Springsteen. Ellen showed immense appreciation to all the healthcare workers who came to her bedside; continuously giving compliments to each and every one of them which left them smiling.
Ellen, a lifelong resident of Kings Park and a proud and spiritual parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C.C is survived by four children, Keith, Donna, Craig and John, eight grandchildren, Darcy, Jean, Suzie, Kyle, Kristy, Meagan,Courtney and James, and five great grandchildren, Adrian, Olive, Hazel, Isabell and baby Addison.
