Norton – Carole Ann (nee Richard) of Kings Park on April 27, 2021 at the age of 80, after a seven year battle with Alzheimer’s. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Queens, NY to the late Peter and Angeline Richard. Beloved and devoted wife of Joseph M., just shy of 60 years of marriage, and loving mother of Joseph(Karen), Kevin(Lisa), Brian(Janice) and Christine(Jerry) Cozine. Carole was an adored Nanny of 13 grandchildren who were the light of her life, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Liam, Claire, Christopher, Aileen, Kelly, Owen, Megan, Peyton, Emerson, Christian, and the late Andrew. Carole is a cherished sister to Angela (Richard) Vicenzi and a dear half sister to Carrie (Edmund), Della (Harry) and AJ (Victoria) who all predeceased her. Carole is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Carole was an RN for over 25 plus years in Huntington, NY and then changed careers and went on to become a Licensed Optician for over 17 years, with the last 12 at Costco in Lake Grove, NY. Carole was a kind and loving woman with many dear friends. She loved spending time with her family and helping people. She was a creative and talented artist and loved tending to her garden and flowers. Carole will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
