Obituary for Genevieve M. Littmann
On Monday, February 1, 2021, Genevieve Kurtz Suhovsky Littmann, loving wife and mother of 5 children passed away at the age of 79.
Genevieve was born on May 18, 1941 in New York, New York. On September 2, 1961 married Kenneth Suhovsky and on May 25, 1968 moved to Commack, New York where she raised 2 daughters, Theresa and Jean, and 3 sons, Kenneth, Michael and Christopher, all while working in retail; most recently as a cosmetologist at Macy's. On October 31, 1989 she married Joseph Littmann and continued to live in Commack until her passing.
Genevieve's passion was her family. She loved spending time with children and grandchildren whether it was babysitting, vacationing, or attending games, concerts and performances. She loved birthdays and holidays where she would bake everyone's favorite things. She was known for her love of family, selflessness, and kind and compassionate spirit.
Genevieve is preceded in death by her father, Frank, her mother Mary, and her husband Joseph. She is survived by her 5 children Theresa, Jean, Kenneth, Michael, and Christopher, her brother Frank, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a large extended family.
