Obituary for Rosemary F. Maslott
Rosemary F Maslott, age 89, native of Albany, NY, formerly of Kings Park, died peacefully December 18, 2019 at her home in Stony Brook.
Born in 1930, Rosemary was a graduate of Vincentian Institute and Saint Peter’s School of Nursing. She loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She enjoyed reading (audio books in later life), jelly donuts, and a good cup of coffee.
Widow of Joseph W Maslott, mother of Mary Catherine and Joseph, both of Ronkonkoma, mother in law to Peter and Alison, grandmother (Amma) to Jacki Meyer and Joseph W Maslott, future grandmother in law to Anthony Anderson. Lovingly cared for by her aide and friend, Rosemary Twum. Predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, and brother John Fitzpatrick. Survived by her sister in law, Carolyn Fitzpatrick, nephews/nieces Kevin Fitzpatrick, Jayne Carlson (Scott), and Maureen Fitzpatrick, Scott Carlson (Kristicia), Autumn, and Evangeline.
Reposing Sunday, December 22, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clayton Funeral Home Inc, 25 Meadow Road, Kings Park, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be offered Monday, December 23, 9:30 am at St Joseph’s RC Church, Kings Park. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
