Condolence: Peg was always an amazing grandmother. She always showed a deep interest in my life, excited to hear updates on what was going on. I was lucky to have the opportunity to spend nearly 13 close years living with grandma when she came to live with my family. She became the sister I never had. We spent countless hours watching Seventh Heaven and Smallville. I will always remember both of us getting ready for the day at the double sinks. I will always remember her telling me to go to bed in the middle of the night when she would get up to use the bathroom at 12 at night and I would still be awake in my room. I will miss all of these small moments that created memories to last a lifetime. Grandma, you will be greatly missed.
Condolence: I had the pleasure of assisting Peg at home for several years. She was a bundle of energy and always ready for a new adventure! We loved our regular “Wednesdays out” during which we would go out to breakfast and then we would SHOP!! It was a rare occasion that Peg didn’t purchase something...for herself or for a member of her family. We spent many sunny mornings sitting outside on the deck talking and reading, attended senior fitness classes at St. Mary’s, walked laps up and down the driveway and spent a few days each Christmas season decorating the tree. She loved my dogs and was always ready for a visit with them. Peg had an exuberance about her that was infectious and sometimes exhausting! I think at times she had more energy in her 80’s and 90’s than I did in my 30’s and 40’s! I wouldn’t trade a moment that I shared with her and will always be grateful I got to say goodbye before she passed. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Deepest condolences to Debbie and Paul, Karen and Stan, the grandchildren and extended family.
Condolence: It was about 14 years ago when I really got to know mrs. Cosgriff. At that time I would see her close to once a week at Debbie and Paul's house. She was always so pleasant and very interested in what I was taking for classes in college. I enjoyed talking with her and she would always bring up the story when I was just a little boy and ran up to her in the grocery store with a big smile on my face. She had just come up from New York to visit at her cobboossee lake camp. She was a great person and addition to our family. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
