Kern, Dolores of Kings Park, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday September 23, 2018. Beloved wife and friend of Roy M. Kern, united again in Heaven. Devoted mother of Roy, Jr. and Denise Kern, Stephanie and Don Leatherman, Mark and Patricia Kern, Rodney Kern, and Penelope and Frank Pruziner. Loving sister of Mary Frances Miller. Cherished grandmother of Roy III, Billy, Derek, Rachel, Bryan, Taylor, Ashley, Jason, Justin, Bradley, Aaron, Chris and Heather. Grandchildren so loved they blessed her with 15 great grandchildren. Dolores was a successful entrepreneur along side her husband Roy, Sr. She was an exemplary wife and partner. A woman of class and intelligence, successful business woman and mentor. She led by example and made an impression on all. Dolores fought a courageous battle in her illness, but put it all behind her everyday smile and laughed with us. Dolores is a role model for wives, mothers, grandmothers and friends. We are comforted by her restful peace with our dad. Till we all meet and laugh together again. Your loving family.
