Rose was born in in Italy, in the Province of Salerno, in a town called Montano Antilia on April 24, 1920. She came to America in 1929 and lived in Brooklyn. She worked as a seamstress in the Brooklyn Navy Yard making Naval uniforms, ultimately owning her own business. She met John, also from Montano Antilia, They were married September 05, 1946, after having corresponded with each other for 9 years. They had 2 children Louis and Jeanette. In 1961 they moved to Kings Park, with Rose working at the Kings Park Psyciatric Center until her retirement in 1976.  Rose is survived by a, sister Grace, son Louis, Daughter in law Ann, daughter Jeanette and son in law Ron.. She is predeceased by a brother, Peter, March 16 1982. 

Rose loved her family very much, she also loved the NY Mets, who she never gave up on, and her dog Sammy. A more loving, caring, giving woman there will never be She touched so many hearts and I'm so proud to call her my mom. Rest in peace. Give Dad and the rest of the family a big kiss for me
