Dear Debbie, No words can express the deep sadness our whole Fort Ticonderoga family feels in losing such a dear friend and part of our Fort Ticonderoga family. Richard was extraordinary - kind, funny, generous, and always willing to help. He always brightened the day and always had a few good words of advice. He was a dear friend and we are heartbroken for you, your whole family, and our community for losing someone so special and dear to us all. The world was better because he was here.
