Israel, Joanne (Di Leo) was called home on Saturday April 30, surrounded by her cherished family following a courageous fight with cancer. Throughout her life Joanne was an example of goodness and love. She always put the needs of others first and through her unselfish efforts her family, friends and so many others are better off. She loved her family and would sacrifice anything for them. She lived a humble and simple life, wanted little and gave a lot. She will be dearly missed every day by all those who loved her. Joanne was predeceased by her mother, Florence Faloretti Cressotti and her father Angelo Cressotti. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert, their three children, Kimberly Morello and her husband William, Susan Rodichok and her husband Joseph, a son Brian Israel and his wife Jenny; six grandchildren Ashley, Emily, Michael, Cassandra, Arianna and Brayden all living in Suffolk County; a loving sister Nancy Hartman, a special niece, Kelly who reside in Springfield Massachusetts and several cousins also living in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Reposing Tuesday 2-4:30 & 7-9pm at Clayton Funeral Home, Inc. 25 Meadow Rd. Kings Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday 10:30am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Kings Park. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
